4/26/2005 - For those of you up on the north-east side, Don't forget to come see the first of what I hope will become a concert series on Sunday May 1st. The concert will be held In Chisago City at the Zion Lutheran Church at 7pm. Tickets will be $5.00
4/26/2005 - I've confirmed a date with The Acadia Cafe on Wednesday June 29th. I'll be doing the evening with a great singer-songwriter named Justin Law. Click his name to learn more about him. Details aren't hammered out yet but I'll post when they are.
4/23/2005 - Bilimbi Bay, Apple Valley - I have to say the best part of the evening was my 3 year old daughter, Danielle. It was her first (impromptu) performance. After finishing my first break Danielle came up to me so I picked her up. She reached for the microphone (She had a plan) Even though my break music was going, she began singing "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" She got a huge round of applause (I'm pretty sure bigger than mine as a matter of fact) Was she done? Nope. She jumped into Baa Baa Black Sheep and again received the same applause. She wanted more but at the risk of losing my job to her, I had to make her stop. She really did great. (Proud Daddy) She sings all the time. Thanks at the top to Rick & Jessie, Denny & Sue, Eddie & Marianne(sp) and my lovely wife Debbie - Wonderful to have you out. Betsy & Chris and Rhonda and Ron Thank you for the requests and being there. Next time I'm sure I'll be able to do Piano Man again. Greg from Prior Lake - Nice to meet you. 3/05/2005 - Later Saturday - Bilimbi Bay, Apple Valley. I had a great group of 4 (2 girls 2 guys), 3 tables in front of me shouting "Jeff James" at the beginning of the night. Forgive me but I've forgotten your names since last I saw you. Thank you for being there and we'll meet next time. Tom & Jeannie - great to see you again. Dan & Carol (in the back) thanks, nice to meet you. Izzy and Rob - very nice to have you out again! Rob I forgot to mention yuou here a couple of weeks back when you brought in your friend (Steve?) The Joy of the evening was having a beautiful little 5 year old dancer named Danielle and her family Tony & Pat & Uncle Joe out on the floor dancing for most of the evening. 3/05/2005 - Saturday Eve - I was blessed enough to see the group "Selah" at Northwestern College. If you haven't heard them or seen them - it's an amazing experience. This Contemporary Christian group is up for 5 Dove Award Nominations this year and previously have won multiple Dove's in past years. Not only are they THE most powerful vocal group I've experienced, but the most humble and kind people I've met. Allan Hall (of Selah) was kind enough to give me a great review of the "Two Hands" CD. Allan has an amazing CD of his own on Curb records. We bought Todd's new CD as well though I haven't had a chance to hear it yet. review later.
